A 3,000 sq. ft. Italian restaurant, pizzeria & wine bar
Interior design in collaboration with RC Architecture
Located in the heart of Koramangala at Forum Mall, Toscano is a refined yet inviting Italian restaurant that harmoniously blends industrial edge with classical European charm. As part of a collaborative team of three, I contributed to this project alongside RC Architecture, bringing to life a space that feels both dynamic and deeply comfortable
The design draws inspiration from Italy’s rich culinary heritage and timeless interiors, but it’s interpreted with a bold, contemporary lens. Exposed corrugated ceilings, black mesh details, and raw industrial lamps set the tone, while classical elements—such as deep green leather chairs, rich wooden tables, and ornamental shelving—introduce elegance and depth. The result is a balanced juxtaposition: refined yet raw, modern yet soulful.
The earthy colour scheme grounds the space with natural warmth. Muted greens, terracotta accents, dark metal finishes, and raw textures complement one another, crafting a palette that is both comforting and sophisticated. The use of metal shelving, vintage bar stands, and crafted joinery enhances the layered, character-rich aesthetic.
The space is designed to feel immersive and welcoming—from solo guests at the wine bar to families enjoying handmade pizza. The lighting is subtle and warm, casting soft glows on rustic textures and reflective surfaces. Every detail—from seating to layout—was thoughtfully composed to offer both intimacy and liveliness, creating a fine dining experience without pretension.
